Live Updater Popup

I think the best thing to do to put your mind at ease is to ignore the pop ups, and check for updates manually every now and again, or when you see there is a pop up. If you double click on the Printer icon on the desktop (Printer Assistant), and click on the Utilities on the top, you will see the HP Update that you can run yourself. When I ran Live Update 6, I received a notification that there was an update to Live Update. The setup program popped up and it abruptly quit. It turns out that Windows Defender identified an executable called 'SUpdate.exe' that Live Update downloaded to my Internet cache folder as malware.

Disable Windows 10 Update Popup

While downloading e-mail this morning from my ISP service, the following pop-up message appeared on my computer screen (typed below). The pop up was about 5' wide x 2.5' tall and in Symantec's usual yellow and blue colors. I never saw anything like this before from NAV, so I used 'screen print' save a copy of the message and then clicked the close button (x) in the pop-up's top, right corner. Do you think this was this an official, Norton warning message?
