It seems that someone couldn’t take the strong reactions to her tone-deaf, ill-timed, devoid of any season or flavor-esque attempt at social commentary, and decided an explanation was needed. In her “message” to those who she felt “misinterpreted” her intentions, Nicole Arbour does exactly in her letter what black-and-brown (hell, anyone with a real conscience) said she did in the video: attempt to co-opt black pain with her own agenda.
